John Baker 15.03.1938 - 26.12.2022 It is with great sadness that we must inform you of the passing of Mr John Baker on Monday 26th December, 2022.  A man of community with the biggest heart and loved by all. His life will be celebrated on Saturday 7th January, 2023 at 2.00pm at The Matakana Country Park, St Andrew's Chapel, and afterwards at The Stables Restaurant from 4.00pm.

Gladys Amelia Knowles (nee Nicol). Passed away peacefully on 22nd December 2022 at Summerset Falls Village, surrounded by family, aged 95. Beloved wife of John for 75 years. Loved mother of David, Pam, Ross, Kevin and Gary. Loved Grandma to her 16 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Will be sadly missed and forever in our hearts. Barbara Ida (Rev) Taylor (nee Miller). Passed away peacefully into her loving Saviour's arms on 19th December 2022, aged 91. Dearly loved by her husband, the late Rev Phil Taylor, stepchildren David (Leonie), Janice (Greg), Karen, Thelma (Tony), Kim (Dave), and as Nana Barb to Matt, Luke, Olivia, Cath, Gary, Tegan, Josh, Cheyenne and great grandchildren Jason, Rebecca, Jeremy, Mia, Ruby, Isaiah and Reuben. Loved by her late sister Ngaire, and her brothers Graeme (Norma), Rodney (Rosalie) and Donald (Helen), and her nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends. A service to celebrate Barbara's life will be held at the Manly Methodist Church, 945 Whangaparaoa Road, Manly on Saturday 31st December 2022 at 1pm, to be followed by private cremation. Peter Edwin Jeffrey Thomas. Passed away at home on Thursday 8th December 2022, surrounded by his family. Beloved husband, father, brother and uncle who will be sadly missed.
