The last one standing from his large Irish family has died aged 89, peacefully in Warkworth on Sunday 30th April 2023. He is survived by his wife Rae, and family Michelle, Clive, Stella, Maria, Bryan, John, Chloe, Logan, Astin, Sebastian, Luka, Karl, Rachel, Amelia, Louis, Milan and Lucia. A funeral service for Michael will be held at Totara Park Retirement Village Hall, 9 Melwood Drive, Warkworth on Friday 5th May 2023 at 2.30pm.

Carol Hill-Smith (nee Hill) formerly Bailey.  Passed away on Saturday 15th April, 2023 in her 84th year. Beloved wife of Lionel, mother of Marilyn, Murray (deceased), Biggz and Tammz, Danelle and Andy. Jeane Irwin Savage (nee Parke) passed away peacefully on 7th April 2023 after a short battle. Loving wife and best friend to Brian. Cherished mother and mother-in-law to Dave and Michelle, Todd and Joanne. Loving grandmother to Alice, Kellie-Rose, Josie, Kayla and great grandmother to Caleb, Hudson, Lilly-Lou, Zara, Karson. Selwyn Gregory Wright, born September 19th, 1949. Passed away on March 10th, 2023. On Friday 10th March Selwyn Wright passed away suddenly doing what he loved. Much loved husband of Marilyn, loved father of Phillippa, Hamish and Amy, Nathan and Jared, father in law of Scott, Lee and Wakana, and loved Selly (grandad) to Lucy, Mary, and George, Ivy and Harriet, Rei and Hanna. Funeral service will be held at the Kaiwaka Sports Association at 11.00am on Friday 17th March, 2023.

Passed away on Friday 3rd March 2023. Loved wife of Ken and mother of Morgan. Carol will be deeply missed. A celebration of Carol's life will be held at the Magnolia Room of Besoul Funerals, 12 Gumfield Drive, Warkworth on Monday 6th March, 2023 at 12.30.00pm to be followed by interment at Wellsford Cemetery at 2.00pm.

Peter Tickle passed away peacefully in his sleep on 4th February, 2023. Loved by Marion, Lisa, Simone, Vanya and Matt, and Tiana, Meika and Louie. Dear brother of Barry and Sonia. Beloved wife of Anthony (Tony). We had a short life together, but we lived it to the full, even though Covid cut short our Bucket List wishes. Sylvia slipped away peacefully after a tough fight with the Big C at the Summerset Care Centre on December 31st 2022. My thanks to the staff for their care in those last few days, as well as the Hospice and Oncology teams over the past two years. "Her message to those facing the final diagnosis was to make each day a memorable one for those around you, be strong even though you are hurting, and be brave for those around you". She did not suffer fools gladly, but her friends and relatives are many in NZ and Australia, as well as worldwide, and I am grateful to them all for their love and support. A private cremation has been held and a Celebration of Life will be held soon.
